A Grateful Perspective

Scripture: PSALM 100: 1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

3 Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;[a]
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5 For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love (mercy) endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Life Lessons from Nehemiah – “Preparing your Heart for Worship”

Nehemiah 9: 1-3
“Now on the twenty-fourth day of this month the people of Israel
were assembled with fasting and in sackcloth, and with earth on their
heads. 2 And the Israelites[a] separated themselves from all foreigners and
stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers. 3 And they
stood up in their place and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their
God for a quarter of the day; for another quarter of it they made confession
and worshiped the Lord their God.”

Life Lessons from Nehemiah – “Honouring the Word”
